Jim and Shirley Walz started
their wholesale buisness, Jim Walz Distributing in 1978.
They sold all types of Hearth related accessories such as kettles, trivets, ash buckets, wood racks and fireplace tool sets. One of their biggest sellers was Stove Bright high heat paint for wood burning stoves and barbecues.
In 2011 they opened up their own retail store, Total Fireplace. In the store they sell all of their Hearth accessories along with electric fireplaces. It also has many other gift items and memorabilia, making this mom and pop shop very unique and special.
Today both Total Fireplace and Jim Walz Distributing are managed by their grandaughters Bea and Theresa. You can now purchase items online and in store.
In addition to hearth accessories, Total Fireplace sells gas fireplaces, wood burning fireplaces, pellet stoves and inserts.
Also, outdoor fireplaces, fire pit components and much more!
As of today, Jim and Shirley enjoy spending time on the boat, along with hanging out with their family and friends.
