Jim and Shirley Walz started their wholesale business Jim Walz Distributing in 1978. They sold all types of Hearth related accessories such as kettles, trivets, ash buckets, wood racks and fireplace tool sets. One of their biggest sellers was high heat paint for wood burning stoves and Barbeques.

In 2011 they opened up their own retail store Total Fireplace. In the store they sell all of there Hearth accessories along with electric fireplaces. It also has many other gift items and memorabilia making this mom and pop shop very unique and special.

 

Today both Total Fireplace and Jim Walz Distributing are managed by their granddaughters Bea and Theresa. You can now purchase items online and in store.

 

In addition to hearth accessories Total Fireplace sells gas fireplaces, wood burning fireplaces, Pellet stoves and inserts.
